U.S. tennis pro Mackenzie ("Mackie") McDonald joins host Carl Bialik to talk about his five-set Australian Open thriller against Grigor Dimitrov; what he learned from his first coach,Rosie Bareis; what he gained by playing college tennis; and what he thinks of Tennys Sandgren, the surprise Australian Open quarterfinalist who beat McDonald four times last year. (Though this political science major says he never talks politics.)
